Pick someone to keep the card game moving while the football game is on. It could be the party host, the most rule obsessed player, the rookie football fan, or simply the only one who bothered to read this Playbook.
The Coach shuffles the deck and deals 3 cards to each player.
If you get a duplicate card you must hand one back to the Coach and get a new one before the quarter starts.
Watch for the events on your cards to occur in the live football game.
When an event happens that matches a card in your hand, play one of the following 3 ways:
After each quarter, the cards in your hand are handed back to the Coach and new cards are dealt. The game of football can be fast moving so you may choose to reset the game at half-time instead of after each quarter.
The player with the most points at the end of the game wins. Or the player who had the most drinks at the end of the game loses. It’s all about perspective!
How ever you choose to play, always play in a safe and responsible manner, and follow all laws in force where you are located.
